I have wanted to send you a note of thanks for quite some time, however, our web leads have been keeping me pretty busy! Thanks to you and your knowledge of search engine intricacies, I have been able to significantly reduce our Yellow Page expenditures while GAINING additional qualified leads to pursue. I’ve always felt that as a primary commercial special events company that our Yellow Page ads, which are targeted to a residential user, were a necessary evil to glean the rare commercial user. As most people are turning to the Googles and Yahoos for information, being in the top 5 listings in so many categories is fantastic. I remember when searches for Pedestal Events casino parties, theme decorations and carnival and picnics turned up nothing about us. If you are not in the first couple of pages, you might as well erect a billboard in the desert.

What precipitated today’s note was a conversation I had with a entertainment database listing service called PartyPop.com. They are pretty good themselves since I learned of them by their Google placement for the companies that list with them. The listing was free, but of course a representative called to help me upgrade for a fee. While discussing our web usage I asked him to search us in different categories and he said “I have to give your webmaster a lot of credit for the work he’s done”. We were in the top 3 in every instance. To their credit they were also in the top 3 in several key categories. My question for you is; if Pedestal takes any listings with them will it adversely impact the work you’ve done? When you get a chance, please give me a call.
